On November 7th, 1805, over two years and 4,100 miles since Meriwether Lewis and William Clark and their Corps of Discovery set out they arrived in what is now Pacific County. Over the next 17 days the party explored the area from their camp just east of what is now Chinook to the beach which was likely at the time located right out the front door of where these cottages are currently located. During their time here they noted a variety of plant and wildlife that are still on display for the adventurous.

And if it’s not raining you are a short 5 minute walk to 26 miles of beach, some of the best restaurants and antiques stores.
